1970 Ford Mustang Receives Mothers Shine Award

Each year Mothers Polishes, Waxes, and Cleaners honors excellence in vehicle design by selecting a SEMA Show vehicle to receive its Mothers Shine Award. A team of international panelists selects a winner based on overall appearance, fit and finish, attention to detail, integration of custom and stock elements, creative vision, and execution of concept. The winner of this year’s Shine Award is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 “Dragon” owned by Jayne Roorda and Jack Alex Stoner of Chandler, Ariz. The car was built by Ringbrothers in Spring Green, Wisc.

This awesome display of Mustang power features a Roush 427 IR crate motor mated to a Tremec 5-speed transmission. Other features include Forgeline 3-piece wheels, Magnaflow mufflers, Royal Purple fluids, carbon fiber deck lid, and custom billet throughout. Oh, and a Detroit Speed QUADRAlink suspension in the rear and JMT Auto Works in the front. The Mustang sports a paint job of BASF Glasurit in Dragon Blood and Castle Grey. The interior work was completed by Upholstery Unlimited.
